Post 4

Last week was a very busy week for the Micro Aquarium, As is seen I took many pictures of my rotifer family.  This week though nothing much changed.  I went in and looked and my rotifer family is still thriving and appears to be reproducing, however nothing new besides that has been seen.  I know some people have found Cyclops and other more advanced organisms than my rotifers but for some reason no more advanced organisms have developed.

Post 3

this has been a very hecktic week for me but all of that asside, my micro-aquarium is thriving and I was able to take some great pictures.  I did not find any new species in my micro aquarium but I did see many more rotifer's that last week.  It appears that there has been a lot of procreating.  I found a halteria (fig 304, Patterson) that is a rounded cell that moves ins short bounds separated by short pauses.

Post 2

Hello,

With my second time looking at my Micro Aquarium I have begun to find manny more living organisms.  Near the leaf on the left side of my Micro Aquarium there was a seed shrimp swimming around.  He was oval shaped with multiple flagella coming out of the head area.  There were manny Euplotes swimming around the right side of the Micro Aquarium.  It appeared flat but upon closer look they turned over and I was able to see their legs and there look just like the picture in Free Living Fresh Water Protozoa by D.J. Paterson with Drawings by Stuart Hedlly.

Hello,

This is a pot about my Micro Aquarium for Botany 111.  It is a full of pond water from sample 10 and has pieces from plant B as well as some of the other plants that were around the table.  If you look at the Aquarium with the circle stickers in the upper left corner there is a small leaf on the lower left, an other stick on the right that has smaller oblong leaves and a vine across the top.  In the first time looking I saw nothing moving I will keep everyone updated on the status of living objects in my Micro Aquarium.
